SHIPPING POLICY
CANADA 🇨🇦
Orders ship from the Greater Montreal area between Monday and Wednesday, depending on weather conditions and shipping capacity.
Most Canadian destinations are shipped with Purolator Express and typically arrive within 1 business day. Delivery times may be longer for rural or remote locations.
Please check your local weather forecast before placing an order. We cannot hold orders for more than 2 weeks. While delays are uncommon, they may occur due to weather, carrier issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and ensuring that shipping information is accurate and complete, including apartment numbers, gate codes, buzzer numbers, and any other relevant delivery instructions.
During winter, plants may be shipped in insulated boxes with heat packs when required.
To help manage shipping capacity and maintain quality standards, a minimum order value of CAD $100 applies to Canadian orders.
EXPORTS 🇺🇸
Export orders are currently available to the United States. Germany 🇩🇪, Poland 🇵🇱, and Switzerland 🇨🇭 will be available soon.
A minimum order value of USD $350 applies to export orders. Export availability may vary by product and destination.
All export orders are shipped with FedEx Priority and are accompanied by the required phytosanitary documentation where applicable.
Please refer to the announcement on the homepage for upcoming export dates and deadlines.
Plants rooted in soil may be available for export; however, roots may be removed prior to inspection and the plants shipped as unrooted cuttings if required to comply with import regulations.
Customers are responsible for verifying import requirements in their country before placing an order, including any import permits, registration requirements, or other documentation that may be required.
Plants will not be shipped illegally or declared as gifts, decorations, toys, or under any other false description.
🇺🇸 No additional duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees are due upon delivery for United States orders.
Hoya etcetera cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs inspections, border processing, carrier delays, weather events, government agencies, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for providing any information requested by customs authorities, carriers, or government agencies in a timely manner. Hoya etcetera is not responsible for delays, additional fees, loss, damage, or plant deterioration resulting from a customer’s failure to provide requested information, including tax identification numbers, social security numbers, import permits, or other customs clearance requirements.
